Christine was a remarkable woman. She showed extraordinary strength and courage in the face of her health challenges, and used her experiences and knowledge to work to improve the care of other people receiving treatment at Southmead. She will be sincerely missed by all who knew her in the renal unit and Southmead.

Christine was an extraordinary patient who put up with a large number of challenging chronic health problems with enormous courage and fortitude. Throughout, she was quietly but constantly supported by her husband Nick. Despite her health difficulties, she found the energy and enthusiasm to represent patients on a number of hospital committees. Her contributions were always thoughtful and positive. She was a tremendously loyal supporter of the renal unit and she will be much missed by all who knew and worked with her in the hospital.
